| << Back to the contents of "About NHH" Technika, July-August 2000 Host Demonstration LaboratoryThe Demonstration Laboratory of the Host society fills up a deficiency in Hungary. Its aim is to demonstrate broadband wire infocommunications technologies by means of a well equipped studio in a competition-neutral environment. They mainly build upon wire technologies because a wide range of innovative solutions from common to professional applications can be brought to most of the homes through the existing telephone lines, quickly spreading cables and cheaper ISDN. On reviewing the existing and anticipated strengthening technologies and applications the Host called a tender to procure the equipment that meets the needs of the near future and started to develop a demonstration laboratory in its rented property at Munkácsy Mihály utca 16.
